There are new cell phone chargers on the market which charges iPhones, BlackBerrys, Motorola’s Droid X, HTC’s EVO and other devices by simply placing them on a the PowerMat. Pricing starts at about $50.00 for the PowerMat.

Duracell calls their product MyGrid; which works on Motorola devices such as the Droid 3, BlackBerrys and iPhones. The MyGrid sells for about $65.00 (discounted). Duracell also makes a portable cell phone charger designed for their MyGrid system.

Both of these power stations require new back covers for phones.
