As the federal government has made it illegal for Facebook to give unauthorized access to a child's Facebook account, for those who are concerned for their children's safety and what is posted on Facebook, there is hope.

If you allow your child to have a Facebook account, the best solution is for you to set it up for them. Setup your email account as a backup to retrieve the password if it gets reset. This way both you and your child will be able to access their Facebook account.
