TENS Unit - Back

A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) unit is a small portable electronic device.

Through small sticky patches attached to an area of the body experiencing pain, electrical impulses are transmitted from the TENS unit.

The impulses suppress pain by helping the brain release endorphins. Additionally nerve fibers get stimulated which can block pain.

Many people get relief through the use of TENS units.

If you feel one could help you, talk to your physician or chiropractor.
